As a professional artist, I wanted a place to display the photos of my paintings, to me, that tell stories about me and bring out feelings in the admirers of my work. My paintings inspire all people and I will add some detailed stories about each one and what inspired me. A Look Within
Every work of art in this collection is driven by emotion and a strong will to be positive and inspire peoples life.The artist Norman Rockwell is my inspiration. I admire the use of detail in his work. Many artists throw a few splashes of color on a canvas and call it art. But I find myself in a category that craves detail and depth. Most of all, I like to express emotion through my paintings just as Mr. Rockwell had done himself. At the bottom half of this page you see a great example of detail involved in my work. In the Jungle 2004
This detailed sketch shows a Lion resting in a tree, keeping close watch, and not trusting the comfort of a deep slumber. I really wanted you to see this great wise creature in safe surroundings. Beauty from a distance and Deadly within the same setting. This work is sketched in charcoal and is on a hard board canvas. This was my first work sold in the year 2004 and I find this sale very inspirational in the beginning of this year. This sketch has inspired me to be more aggressive with my natural talent of art. To not put my talent aside but to stop, paint, sketch,....whatever and share it with the world. I claim this year not just year of the Monkey but also Year of the Lion! Roooaaaaaar!! |

Let There Be Light
As this picture demonstrates, lighting can show the glory of the ordinary. For the best results, take pictures in the morning and evenings; the light at dawn and dusk brings depth and softness to objects and people.
